Inside Sales Manager – Platformatics

Position Summary

We are hiring an organized inside sales manager who will provide excellent customer service, ensure proper sales order processing, and issue quotations as the primary contact for the outside sales team, sales agencies, resellers, and end users.

  • Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Located in Kansas City, MO office

Position Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers are properly serviced
  • Manage the return and replacement process
  • Understand the sales network and manage those relationships
  • Vet new customers and assist their setup with accounting
  • Receive sales orders and ensure proper entry
  • Ensure quotation accuracy and quality
  • Work with product management to establish and maintain pricing
  • Maintain awareness of vendor issues and communicate with engineering
  • Stay up to date on product and solutions and provide training on same
  • Monitor project requests and follow up with team members
  • Track and update opportunity status
  • Gather competitive intel and communicate with product management
  • Lead proposal creation and submittal process
  • Manage order fulfillment
  • Communicate product and process improvements
  • Be professional with others, inside and outside the company
Position Requirements
  • 5 years inside sales and customer service experience
  • Proven ability to manage others
  • Excellent communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Technical product sales experience
  • Business or other related degree preferred
