Office Manager – Platformatics

Position Summary

We are seeking an Office Manager, responsible for managing, enhancing, and developing the accounting and order fulfillment systems and processes. The Office Manager ensures consistency of product information throughout the company, from design support through final billing. The office manager assists with product training, project design development, shipping, and post-sales customer support.

This position also acts as the Platformatics operations liaison to H.E. Williams, Inc. This includes working with accounting, HR, and other groups.

Position Responsibilities
  • Creating and issuing quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Receiving goods into inventory
  • Entering sales orders and payments
  • Follow up on accounts receivable
  • Setup customers and vendors and maintain their files
  • Provide backup on project design tools
  • Assist with proposal responses
  • Answer agent, contractor, and customer questions
  • Collect deal information to aid the quoting process
  • Track projects quotes and generate reports to assist sales
  • Manage order shipments from Bloomington and other manufacturing sites
Position Requirements
  • AA or BA/BS in accounting or financial-related degree/certification
  • Two-years’ experience in an accounting position
  • Experience in inventory, receiving, and shipping is a plus
  • One year experience using Quickbooks
