Production Artist

Position Summary

Join our team as our Production Artist! The production artist is responsible for producing technical and visual content for product and company marketing materials. The Production Artist will use specialized computer software to design and ensure the accuracy of files during the various stages of product development. In addition, this person will create visual layouts for use in other marketing collateral. Our family-owned company has over 100 years of history and quality USA-made manufacturing. Position Responsibilities
  • Create, deliver, edit & optimize new product support documents such as specification sheets, installation instructions & custom color diagrams
  • Produce technical reference drawings to support product like cross-sections, isometric views, detail drawings, charts, graphs & tables
  • Finalize product support documentation & ready for publish
  • Recommend improvements & format modifications to increase quality of data
  • Update existing product support documentation
  • Revise, edit & proofread content
  • Retouch photography for publishing on website and data sheets
  • Ensure product support documentation meets customer’s expectations
  • Maintain graphic file logs & archives
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
  • Research competition & market trends
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
  • Excellent verbal & presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time, handle multiple projects & prioritize to meet deadlines
