Assembly | 1st Shift

Position Summary

Join our team as part of our assembly line! Your role will be assembling and testing lighting fixture components, including frames, lenses, parabolic louvers, and other related components. Duties also include packing small parts.

  • Monday-Thursday | 6:00am to 4:30pm
  • $15/hour starting pay

Position Responsibilities
  • Perform effectively as member of assembly line team.
  • Fulfill requirements detailed in assembly Bill of Materials.
  • Assemble and package fixture components as required.
  • Install driver/ballast and wiring.
  • Inspect finished product to ensure compliance with production criteria.
Position Requirements
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate basic English.
  • Technical competence: use of measuring devices, schematic reading test.
  • Computer literate, using Word and Excel programs.
  • Able to communicate and direct compliance with production standards.

  • Job tasks require physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be capable of performing to the criteria presented in the position’s Job Analysis, including requirements for frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling parts, components, or materials that vary in weight. Some tasks may require assistance of other persons and/or mechanical devices.
  • Must comply with all policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures, including proper use and care of Personal Protective Equipment. maintaining the work area and equipment, and demonstrating a proactive mindset for identifying and addressing safety concerns to ensure a safe working environment.
