Engineering Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our outstanding team! Engineering technician responsibilities include the creation and optimization of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment. This position will work with engineers to design mechanical solutions, analyze performance results, and implement equipment.

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Responsibilities
  • Design/develop mechanical solutions to improve ergonomics and productivity
  • Utilize CAD software to create models and drawings for analysis and production
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical systems
  • Manage the fabrication of components for project completion
  • Install, operate, and calibrate solutions for implementation
  • Create project bills of materials for procurement
Position Requirements
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of machines and tools
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined
Health & Safety Factors
  • This position is deemed safety-sensitive
  • Job tasks require physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions, for extended periods of time in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be capable of performing to the criteria presented in the position’s Job Analysis, including requirements for frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling parts, components, or materials that vary in weight. Some tasks may require assistance of other persons and/or mechanical devices.
