Product Development Technician

Position Summary

Join our team as a Product Development Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various duties of the Product Development Engineering department. These duties include providing support for product engineering, improving existing products, and providing support across multiple departments as required.

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the product engineering department as required
  • Utilize SolidWorks for the design and/or re-design of products
  • Recognize, investigate, and implement potential product improvements
  • Generate bills of material for new and existing products
  • Build prototypes and samples for various projects as required
  • Provide engineering-related support to multiple departments as required
Position Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, MS Office, and other software as required
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member effectively
  • This position is deemed safety-sensitive
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience/training in a technical field (lighting preferred)
  • Exposure to sheet metal design
  • Exposure to various manufacturing practices
