Staff Accountant
Position Summary
We are seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable cycle, processing payroll, and performing other accounting related functions.
Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Process employee expense reports
- Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions
- Download, reconcile, and post transactions from lock box deposits
- Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions taken by the customer
- Write-off internal customer accounts to the appropriate general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate payroll reports
- Process payroll garnishments
- Update and maintain employee payroll files
- Prepare and distribute weekly payroll statistics reports to various departments
- Prepare and distribute weekly summary performance graphs to executive staff
- Perform various accounting and reporting functions, as needed
Position Requirements
- Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
- Equivalent accounting related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong computer skills, including general data entry and working in Excel
